Resumen

Se analizó la importancia de la hemoglobina glucosilada para el diagnóstico, seguimiento y prevención de complicaciones en los pacientes con diabetes mellitus; enfermedad que continúa siendo subdiagnosticada a pesar de su elevada prevalencia y los métodos existentes para su muestreo y diagnóstico.
